Mold Testing, Indoor Air Quality, and Industrial Hygiene

SERVICES
With over 45 years of experience in hazard recognition and assessment, we provide expert guidance and support in abating environmental health hazards to restore good indoor air quality and safe and sanitary living conditions.
MOLD ASSESSMENTS
With our broad knowledge of building science, we can identify unknown causes of mold growth and advise on corrective measures, including mold remediation planning.
Once we determine that your mold remediation project was successful, we can provide you with a Certificate of Mold Damage Remediation for your records.
CHINESE DRYWALL
The increase demand for drywall caused by Hurricane Katrina and others sweeping the Gulf Coast States resulted in the huge import of contaminated Chinese Drywall.
Corrosive gases from this drywall damaged certain susceptible copper wiring, HVAC system components, and metallic building contents.
We completed hundreds of Chinese drywall inspections, and helped home and business owners and their attorneys collect evidence of defective drywall from China.
HOSPITAL SERVICES
Our hospital services include leak checks for anesthetic gas, nitrous oxide, and halogenated gases (halothane, isoflurane, sevoflurane, disflurane, enflurane, methoxyflurane).
Also, we provide audits related to Blood Borne Pathogens as part of quality control, and semi-annual or annual audits necessary to comply with JCAHO, OSHA, or NFPA requirements.
ASBESTOS
Asbestos commonly used various construction materials for centuries until it was found to be carcinogenic.
Buildings constructed before the 1970s may have asbestos containing building materials (ACM).
Before demolition and remodeling of older buildings, we can do a complete asbestos audit to identify ACM, and help you meet your regulatory requirements for asbestos removal and disposal.
ERGONOMICS
The rapidly changing office and work environments can create risks associated with cumulative trauma disorders, such as carpal tunnel, wrist tendonitis, epicondylitis, shoulder tendonitis, and hand-arm vibration syndrome.
We can review your employees work stations to help identify and minimize these risks.
ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES
As environmental professionals we can complete your Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) to identify
potential or existing environmental contamination liabilities.
Also, we offer technical support for air sampling and instrumentation; community exposure monitoring of chemical, biological, and radiological hazard releases; emergency response planning, implementation, evaluation and control of chemical, physical, and biological hazards.
In addition we provide expert witness services and testimony for environmental disputes involving mold, chemical exposure, and other environmental torts.
We offer independent OSHA compliance audits for bloodborne pathogens, hazardous chemicals, and physical hazards such as noise, heat, and ionizing and non-Ionizing radiation.
